miles aldridge – crazy shoes and bejeweled barbies

in my very first blog post, i wrote about my favorite fashion photographer, miles aldridge.  since then, he’s added quite a bit of new material to his awesome website.  here are some of my favorites…

mayfair lady ~ numero (2009)

barbia mania ~ vogue gioello (2009)

columbia road ~ vogue italia (2009)

garance for gap

oh how i wish i could get my hands on one of these super cool, “super limited edition” garace doré t-shirts

train de nuit for chanel n°5

please watch train du nuit, an amazing short film advertising chanel n°5, featuring audrey tautou and directed by jean-pierre jeunet.

if you’re watching via youtube, definitely opt for the hd version…it’s worth the wait.

jean-phillipe delhomme

garance doré is a fashion illustrator with a great street style blog.  a few days ago, she wrote about her excitement over being drawn (with scott schuman of the sartorialist) by fashion illustrator jean-phillipe delhomme.

delhomme’s work is a combination of fashion, illustration, and animation.  and it’s really good.  the illustration of garance doré is featured on his cool new blog, the unknown hipster, which is part street style, part illustration.

and here’s an ad he did for barney’s new york.  the quality is pretty awful, so you should really watch it at his site (click “movement” and then hit the next arrow).

tom hines

tom hines is awesome.

even more so because when you click the “music” tab on his site, you get an entirely cheesy photoshoot of grizzly bear.  and they’re pretty cool too.  (and one of my favorite bands at the moment.)

dree hemingway for halston

instead of a runway show for their fall 2009 line, halston shot this video….the girl is ernest hemingway’s great grand-daughter, dree hemingway.
